These are various articles of daily use. Motifs : foot scrubs with handles depicting two elephants locked in deadly combat. The toilet utilities are part of the collection on beauty culture. There are many varieties of ‘Vajris’ or foot scrubs. Vajris in geometrical design, bird and animal motifs, figures of human bodies and deities. They are made of brass, copper and terra-cotta material and are from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, South India, Uttar Pradesh of 18th and 19th Century A.D.
